Thank you for all of the love and support you provided me before, during, and after Everything I Hear: Tia Imani Hanna in Concert at The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music on May 14, 2005. The concert was a great success and a whole lot of fun!
Penny Wells and the CMIC players did a fantastic job on my gospel song, "When God Closes a Window." The crowd went wild over the fantastic drum solo by Mark Johnson on "Those We Love/The Calling of the Names," which is my tribute to all the pets that have been in my life. Terence Conley on piano made us dance to "Brazil the First Time" and Miriam Sullivan on bass had us digging her funky groove on "Maxitudinal." Nick Russo rocked the house with his guitar solo on "Little Love."
It was a very exciting and exhilarating night for me and I am very thankful for all of your support. Those who were not able to make it, never fear, I am currently waiting to hear and mix the recording. Join my mailing listto be notified when the CD will be available for sale on this website. And concert posters and T-shirts are still available at my online store.
